The second-hand marketplace Members Voice Anger Regarding Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
They have suggested members to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Updates
Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: last year, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options after backlash from users.
